Hello. My name is Alesia. I’m an architect/artist from Ukraine. Interior design is difficult to combine with Renaissance paintings in the modern world. Modernity strives for minimalism and conceptuality, and any subject can become art.
Contemporary art is an idea, and when an artist wants to express it, it isn’t always aesthetically pleasing. It isn’t always about beautiful women or flowers.
No one needs to pretend to like it anymore just because the evaluatirs/critics said it was real art.
Art is subjective. Not subject to criticism. You either like it or you don't.
Abstraction is a style through which I translate my emotions into art. Sometimes it is nothing more than just a suitable decorative accent for your interior that will successfully complement it.
